- DA leader Mmusi Maimane has weighed in on Zuma's state capture testimony
- Many Mzansi social media users did not receive his comments well
- They dragged him in the comments section of his post
Mmusi Maimane just can't seem to catch a break on social media. As the country prepares to hear former President Zuma's statements at the State Capture Inquiry, Maimane decided to share his thoughts - unfortunately, the people of Mzansi were not interested.
The DA leader posted a video on his Twitter account and captioned it:
"This week is a historic week in South Africa as we continue with the fight for accountability as former President Jacob Zuma appears before the #StateCaptureInquiry. Those involved in the racketeering enterprise must account and ultimately be prosecuted."
Twitter user Nel_AzaVuba said:
"You have reached your sell-by date. You will be going to Harvard soon."
While siphesihlembat4 said:
"Voetsek wena awusiyeke. #Zuma will not fall"
"Braa Thula Wena... Cause when you are needed to have a voice on important matters in the EC you continue to remain mute. So please continue to do so now."
