The happy couple graced their occasion in the presence of bishops and other clerics.

Samwiri and his fair lady have four children: two girls and two boys, who are still alive and well.

And just a simple glimpse of the jolly pair will tell you that the two are still youthful and full of life despite their age.

To them, love and respect have always been the common denominators in their flourishing relationship.

“I wanted a partner because I was a pillar, beautiful, educated and a daughter of a county chief of Ankole, who had started developments,” Naome opened up.

At 104, Samwiri has not lost his romantic touch and always refers to his lovely wife as 'sweet darling', even on the bad days.

"We got misunderstandings. But in all this, forgiveness, patience and above all prayers have kept us together," Samwiri said.

And without a doubt, their love gives people hope that soulmates still exist as long as there is respect, trust and endurance.
