A video is being shared on social media showing a man shoving a huge fish down his pants. The footage has sparked mixed reactions from people - while some were in stitches, others felt sorry for him.

The footage was shared by South Africa Live on their Facebook page and currently has over 300 reactions. The man appears to be a worker in a fish factory and helps himself to the stock he is meant to be packing. He pulls down his pants and quickly shoves the fish down before covering up again.

Many were left in stitches with Facebook user Lebo Lebo jokingly saying:

"I am waiting for part two."

Others, however, felt sorry for the man and the lengths he had to go through to feed himself and possibly his family. Cathy Ramey said:

"If all of you guys who are taking jabs and jokes as this man can walk in his shoes you guys probably will lose your mind not one of us know what this man has going through has gone through!"

While Janel Jackson said:

"Poor man has to steal to eat. The company should be ashamed its employees are so desperate"
