A South African man had his life-long dream come true thanks to the Bogota Police Department in the USA.
Reece had been a fan of the US police force for a long time based on his love of American television shows.
Reece, who has special needs, visited the area recently and was treated to a surprise meet and greet arranged by the police department.
Officer Jon Gallipoli took time out of his busy schedule to meet up with Reece and took some photos with him.
Reece couldn’t resist asking if he could eat doughnuts that the officers are famed for.
Officer Gallipoli was more than happy to oblige and allowed him to wear a police vest as well.
The Bogota Police Department shared news of the touching moment via their Facebook page.
Jeanie Miranda commented, "It’s such a wonderful feeling when you know you just made someones day! What a memorable beautiful experience it must have been for Reece as well as for PO Gallipoli. Love my BPD."
Anne Webster said, "That’s our Reece...Thankyou Shannon for organizing this special highlight of his life."
