A woman has taken to social media to ask for help to support her siblings after both parents lost their jobs. She has had to de-register from school in order to find a job to make ends meet.
Twitter user Jade Nnaka posted her emotional plea on the social media network:
"Had to de-register from school on Monday because I couldn’t afford to continue anymore since my parents both lost their jobs in the same week in March. All I’m asking for is any job to help ends meet and help my two younger sisters through school."
The kind-hearted people of Mzansi were quick to step in with words of advice and assistance.
Twitter user Zowler_Arafat said:
"It's going to be difficult to get a job without work experience but I can make sure you're marketable. Send me your CV and I'll reconstruct it. For free. All the best babe."
While Amanda Reekie said:
"This makes me so sad, don’t give up, I’ve given away so much money this month that I can’t send you any and don’t even know if small amounts will help so my love and thoughts will have to do."
"DM me. Got a job opportunities for you."
While many others wished her well and offered their prayers.
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported on 87-year-old Patrick who was homeless. He slept on the cold pavements of Blairgowrie. His story touched Mzansi, and people started a crowd-funding initiative to get him off the streets.
