Apologise to America - President Donald Trump tells ‘The Squad’

United States President Donald Trump has intensified his ongoing feud with four Democratic Party congresswomen.

In a tweet posted on his Twitter handle, @realDonaldTrump, on Sunday, July 21, the US president called on Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley to apologise to the United States.

Briefly.co.za notes that Trump insisted that he did not believe that the four congresswomen, popularly referred to as The Squad, were capable of loving the USA.

He also called on them to apologise to Israel for what he referred to as “the horrible (hateful) things they have said”.

According to Trump, the four congresswomen were weak and insecure people who were destroying the Democratic Party.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that President Donald Trump told four congresswomen of colour to go back to where they came from and fix the rot instead of telling the US people how their government should be run.

Trump made the call in a Twitter thread on Sunday, July 14, in which he said the congresswomen of colour originally came from countries whose governments were the most corrupt and inept in the world.

The US president did not mention the four congresswomen's name but his reference to House speaker, Nancy Pelosi, suggested that President Trump was talking about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley and Ilhan Omar.
