Politicians set aside their differences today in order to wish the Economic Freedom Fighters well on their special day. Herman Mashaba and Bongani Baloyi both took to social media to send the party their blessings.
It has officially been six years since Julius Malema founded the EFF after his exodus from the ANC Youth League.
Joburg Mayor Herman Mashaba and Midvaal Mayor Bongani Baloyi both set aside their political differences to send the Red Berets their love, adding that the party's political contribution to South Africa cannot be denied.
The Democratic Alliance's Bongani Baloyi took to social media to comment on the party's impact:
"The @EFFSouthAfrica have shaken SA politics. I may not agree with their policy positions but there is no way you can turn a blind eye on their impact. Happy birthday fighters."
