A neurosurgeon, who has been identified as Coceka Mfundisi, inspired social media users after her practice posted a quote on its Twitter account.
Briefly.co.za gathered Mfundisi explained what her job entails.
"Being a neurosurgeon means I am an operating doctor. I treat various conditions that affect head, spine, brain and nerves in children and adults," Dr Mfundisi said.
In another post, the practice posted a photo of Dr Mfundisi performing a minimally-invasive surgery.
Social media users were impressed with the doctor's dedication to her work and they showed her some love.
Nomzamo Ndlovu, who goes by the Twitter handle @kachwathe, commented: "Also the bravest and smartest queen."
Twitter user, @ddspecialist, added: "Beautiful Doc, I know another neurosurgeon who speaks so highly of you. Keep the good work up Mbokodo."
