Newly promoted English Premier League club Aston Villa has signed Egypt's Mahmoud Hassan 'Trezeguet' from Turkish side Kasimpasa.
The 24-year-old scored 25 goals and provided 18 assists in 71 games for the Super Lig side in the 2018-19 campaign.
According to Kingfut the Egyptian and his Turkish club have both reached an agreement regarding the transfer amount reported to be around £8.75 million, for him to head to Villa Park.
"We are delighted to confirm the signing of Trezeguet from Kasimpasa for an undisclosed fee, subject to work visa and international clearance," Aston Villa tweeted.
The creative playmaker was also impressive for the Pharaohs in their recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.
He scored one goal and provided one assist in four games in the 32nd AFCON edition, before the hosts got eliminated by underdogs South Africa in the round of 16.

The Egyptian was on the radar of top clubs including the likes of Sampdoria, Franca Asse Etienne, Watford and everton, all showing interest in signing the former Al Ahly midfielder.
