On Tuesday, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in the Eastern Cape handed over a new house to an elderly lady, who they identified as Mama Nomziwakhe Hlobo.
According to the party's post, Gogo Hlobo received her new house in Unit P, Postdam.
"Keeping with the commitments of our CIC", they wrote in the caption.
Social media users were inspired by the EFF's gesture and they applauded Juju's party on Twitter, Briefly.co.za gathered.
Nzali Ntshiza, who goes by the Twitter handle @NzaliNtshiza, said: "Proudly Eff it was not a mistake when i joined this organisation."
Social media user, @Nesengani9, commented: "Well done leaders, EFF waya waya happy 6th Anniversary, we are not shaken, Devil is a liar."
Twitter user, @MbangiXman, added: "This is great but its not what we really want , people must be empowered to build themselves good quality houses and that means good quality jobs having said so Hats off to EFF for commendable act of Ubuntu."
Ripfumelo_Maluleke, who goes by the Twitter handle @Ripfume33001863, wrote: "This is so commandable..... This is the kind of government we need..... Forward with EFF foward."
