Rapper K.O has admitted that he doesn't have many friends in the music industry because when things get tough, people tend to disappear. However, he added that with no friends comes peace of mind.
Mzansi rapper, K.O, has been in the music industry for more than 10 years and he knows how ugly and lonely it can get when you're successful.
Finding real friends can seem almost impossible and many celebs and musos prefer to trust people outside the industry.
K.O has admitted that he doesn't have friends who are also in entertainment because most of them won't stick around when the going gets tough.
"I have little to no friends in this industry purely because they all turn ghost when the chips are down - such is life I guess. Zero friends means peace of mind to the headstrong."
K.O also gave some advice to his followers who want to be part of the industry:
"Protect your legacy by any means! Artists are forced to throw in the towel sooner or later coz this industry gets even harder the longer you stay in it. There are folks that really want you out! Let your story end the way you envisioned it, not on the devil’s terms."
The rapper also said he always showed love to fellow artists and never had any 'beef' with others.
The entertainment scene does seem to be a cold and harsh place. Briefly.co.za reported earlier that DJ Maphorisa opened up about other DJs not liking him.
He added that he didn't care and says he's proud of his work, seeing himself as a 'Jack of all trades' - people can be as jealous as they want to be.
