- Jacob Zuma has responded to claims Julius Malema made about Derek Hanekom
- Msholozi said he was "not surprised" by the EFF leader's revelation
- Zuma went on to call Hanekom a "known enemy agent"
On Wednesday, Briefly.co.za reported former minister Derek Hanekom reportedly went to great lengths to ensure Jacob Zuma was ousted as president.
Hanekom allegedly admitted to meeting with the EFF's secretary-general Gordrich Gardee in a bid to work with them to dethrone Zuma.
Zuma has since taken to social media on Thursday morning to respond to the EFF leader's revelation regarding Hanekom.
"I’m not surprised by @Julius_S_Malema revelations regarding @Derek_Hanekom. It is part of the plan I mentioned at the Zondo Commission. @Derek_Hanekom is a known enemy agent," Zuma wrote on Twitter.
The post sparked quite the reaction and Mzansi was quick to give their two cents' worth on uBaba's post.
Thabani Mdletshe, who goes by the Twitter handle @Realthabanim, commented: "Yoh kubi the spies are in high positions within the movement."
Another tweep, @TheEazyEd, added: "So you were knowingly busy appointing spies in your cabinet to lead us!? You were not fit for office Baba."
