Wealthy businessman, Mxolisi Nkomonye, aka Dr Mkhulu, tied the knot with his sixth wife - a policewoman named Ntombifuthi Khoza.

Dr Mkhulu wanted to make the day special and memorable, yet he hoped to save money after splashing a lot on houses and cars for all his wives.

So, the couple showed up to their wedding riding a ganda ganda construction vehicle, the Daily Sun reported.

“I wanted this wedding to be special and memorable as this is the last time I take a wife,” he said.

Briefly.co.za gathered four of his wives work as cops in the SAPS, one is a dermatologist and another is a professional nurse - all of whom have their own houses in their respective provinces.

The wives' homes are located in Swaziland, Mozambique, Pretoria, uMhlabuyalingana and two in Mpumalanga.

Nkomonye's sixth wedding caused quite the stir on social media and South Africans were quick to give their views on the polygamist's special day.
