- The post went viral and he even landed a job designing the Moroka Swallows T-shirts
However, Mzansi was not too impressed with either clubs' new jerseys, Briefly.co.za gathered. A young self-taught graphic designer, Mthokozisi Ngcobo, took to social media to show off how he would have designed the teams' jerseys and he immediately won over SA soccer fans.
South Africans applauded the 26-year-old, tagging the Chiefs and Pirates in their posts to show them how proper jerseys should look.
The Sowetan reported Ngcobo's designs were so impressive he landed a job. On Thursday, Gauteng MEC for Education, Panyaza Lesufi, confirmed he asked the 26-year-old to design the Moroka Swallows T-shirts.
“Thank you so much, we intend to approve our new technical sponsor this week and [we] will be proud to use and pay for your designs,” Lesufi tweeted.
