Briefly.co.za learned Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane reportedly wants Billiat back, but despite both parties wanting to reunite, the footballer's contract might complicate things.

"But he has a contract with Chiefs and that is what is going to complicate things here," the insider said.

The insider added the Chiefs will try to hold onto their key player, especially since the new Premiership season around the corner.

"Chiefs will not want to lose him at this critical stage as they are rebuilding the team‚" the insider said.

The source went on to add that the Amakhosi fans will be unhappy to see last season's best player moving to the rival team.

News of Billiat's alleged plans already surfaced on social media and football fans were quick to give their point of view on his plans.

Twitter user, @Sicamaluks, wrote: "@KaizerChiefs is not ambitious enough for a player of his caliber to stick around."
Maurice Sekgogoba, who goes by the Twitter handle @MauriceSekgogo8, commented: "Please Chiefs stop him. We (Pirates) want to take the league and if he rejoin Sundowns, is gonna be difficult for us. At least at your team he's playing with non quality."
Another tweep, @LuckyMash2, added: "Used to winning ways. Come back home prodigal son. You can't prove your family wrong."
