Media personality Masechaba Ndlovu and family robbed by gunpoint

- South African TV and radio personality, Masechaba Ndlovu, has been left shaken after a traumatic gunpoint robbery at her home

- 5 armed men tied Masechaba, her children and their nanny up while they ransacked the star’s house

- Luckily, no one was hurt and Masechaba’s vehicle, along with many stolen items inside, was recovered soon after the incident

Beloved media personality, Masechaba Ndlovu, took to social media recently to share a harrowing experience with Mzansi.

The local star was robbed by 5 armed men at her Johannesburg home this week.

Masechaba was awoken in the early hours of the morning by the thieves, who took her, her two young children and their nanny, to a bedroom and tied them up with cable ties.

While the family was tied up on the floor, the armed men argued about what to do with them.

Luckily, the decision was taken to leave Masechaba, the two children and their nanny there, without harming them, Briefly.co.za gleaned.

The 5 men fled in Masechaba’s vehicle, which was retrieved soon after the harrowing incident, outside Alexandra township.

It was the Mzansi celeb’s 11-year-old son who managed to help get the attention of Masechaba’s neighbour, who was able to assist the family and their nanny.

Unfortunately, the criminals were not found after the incident, but, according to Masechaba, the local South African Police Service (SAPS) were efficient and helpful during the trying time.
