A South African woman got Mzansi feeling inspired recently when she shared footage of her and her family celebrating her university graduation.
The local graduate, named Kamo Labeko, showed off her celebratory graduation moves in a clip shared to social media.
Kamo is joined by her family and friends in the clip, who are surrounding her, singing and dancing, at the University of Cape Town.
The happy mood of the clip is almost tangible.
Kamo shared the post with the inspiring words of writer and activist, Maya Angelou:
“I come as one but I stand as 10 000.”
Briefly.co.za saw that many were uplifted by the special moment of celebration.
Some gushed over the inspiring moment, which could not have happened just a few decades ago, when the apartheid system oppressed people of colour.
