"PhD in stealing": Photos show what SA thugs achieve in 3 hours

- On Monday, a social media user posted several photos of a stolen Mercedes-Benz

- The pics showed before and after it had been recovered by cops

- Mzansi was left stunned by the thugs' "stripping job" and they expressed their views online

On 29 July, a Twitter user, who was identified by his handle @shange033, shared photos of a stolen Mercedes-Benz SUV after it had been recovered by police.

Briefly.co.za gathered @shange033 said the vehicle was recovered within three hours but it was too late.

In the short time that the thugs had the luxury Merc, they managed to strip it completely.

"Stolen within three hours, found but the stripping job dammm Joburg... May I add anything with a barcode and vehicle identification was left on the road..." he captioned the post.

South Africans could hardly believe their eyes and they flooded the comment section with their two cents' worth on the photos.

Twitter user, @VannyK_Nessa, commented: "The people who stripped this car are professionals and for all we know have experience in the workshop of automobiles."
Another tweep, @JAYMESR22, added: "Those thieves have a PhD in stealing."
