On 17 January, 2017, Nthabiseng Natasha Tekanyo, a preacher, met a man on Facebook. Little did she know he would end up becoming her husband.
Taking to social media on Tuesday, Tekanyo gushed about her relationship with Doc Kelebone Tekanyo.
Briefly.co.za gathered the couple fell pregnant several months after meeting on Facebook. In June 2018, Kelebone paid lobola for his beautiful bae and they tied the knot in December that same year.
"Me and my husband met on Facebook. I responded an inbox bazalwane. He didn't do those 'hi hud, wud' etc... He engaged me based on my statuses, he challenged my thinking and gave me his perspective based on what I wrote," she said.
Tekanyo added: "He became a good friend because I was fascinated by his thinking and he was intrigued by my pattern of writing."
The posts sparked quite the reaction and South Africans were left inspired by their love story.
Twitter user, @RetangRiri, commented: "To think I have overwhelming number of unread messages on Facebook. One of them might be my soulmate."
Blessing Jnr Ngwepe added: "Achi I will start responding my inbox mo."
