- One of the Khayelitsha quadruplets has sadly passed away
- According to a neighbour, one of the boys, Bubele, started suffering from diarrhoea

One of the famous Khayelitsha quadruplets has died. According to a neighbour, Stella Booi, the babies' mother called her frantically.
Inga Mafenuka and her grandmother called for help on Thursday morning, saying Bubele was sick and needed medical attention.
According to CapeTalk, Booi called an ambulance and they rushed little Bubele, one of the two boys, to a local clinic, where he was declared dead.
Booi said Bubele suffered from diarrhoea and he struggled to breathe. She revealed the 22-year-old mother was left devastated by the death of the one-year-old.
The heartbreaking news followed only a month after the four babies celebrated their first birthday.
Briefly.co.za reported last month that the quadruplets celebrated their first birthday. In 2018, the young mother made headlines when she gave birth to four healthy babies.
The 22-year-old mother waited eight weeks before she was able to take them home from Tygerberg Hospital due to them being born prematurely.
