On Wednesday, a lady, who was identified as Aimée Kirker, took to social media to share a photo of herself with the South African head of state.
Kirker revealed she ran into Ramaphosa a day before she was set to start her new job.
"Ran into President Ramaphosa this morning. He wished me luck for my new job tomorrow- it can only go well from here. What a surreal moment and what a lovely chat," she captioned the post.
The post sparked a mixed reaction - some tweeps accused Kirker of being a recipient of white privilege. However, others defended the new employee, Briefly.co.za gathered.
