Economic Freedom Fighter Deputy President Floyd Shivambu has made his feelings regarding Jabu Mabuza crystal clear. In a social media post Shivambu shared a video of the newly appointed Eskom interim CEO admitting to a possible conflict of interest.
In case you were wondering, Floyd Shivambu is no fan of Eskom chairperson Jabu Mabuza.
Taking to social media, the EFF second-in-command threw shade at Eskom, Mabuza and even President Cyril Ramaphosa:
" Good morning South Africa. Please meet the recently appointed Acting CEO and Executive Chairperson of ESKOM. He also is Chairperson of a company that services a third of Eskom Boilers! It’s a New Dawn!"
Briefly.co.za reported that Mabuza had been appointed as interim CEO at the battling state-owned entity, filling in while a permanent head could be instated.
Sharing a clip from the Zondo Commission of Inquiry into State Capture, Shivambu reminded Mzansi that Mabuza had previously admitted to serving as chair of a company that services a substantial amount of the utilities boilers.
