It's Women's Month and a time to celebrate the fairer gender. Briefly.co.za asked readers what they feel brings Mzansi women together and the responses were not disappointing.
Men are brought together by football, while children are brought together by cartoons. According to Facebook user Silindile Ntombela:
"Sad reality is that while men are watching football and kids watching cartoons somebody has to look after the house and make sure dinner is on the table when the men and kids need to be fed. So we never have the luxury of seeing each other every weekend but when we do we make the most of it"

Others believed that wine and gossip were the top two things that brought women together.
Lindiwe Sibiya said:
"Prayer bring wise women together as for the foolish it can only be men and gossip."
While Bulelwa Kulata agreed, saying:
"Prayer groups and stokvels."

Meanwhile Briefly.co.za previously reported that Mzansi’s independent business mogul, DJ Zinhle, was named as the guest keynote speaker at the 2019 Women of Note Gala Dinner. No one can deny the rock hard hustle that oozes from Zinhle’s being. Not only is she one of the most influential women in Mzansi, she is a phenomenal mother, artist and a total fashionista. The Women of Note Gala Dinner is held in celebration of National Women’s Day. It brings like-minded women together to network, inspire, share ideas and uplift one another.
