Mzansi actress, Jessica Nkosi took to social media to vent about something close to her heart, but immediately social media users began to assume she was talking about Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo’s recent romantic reunion.

The Isibaya actress too to Twitter to rant about kniving men who abuse their partners, and she was not pretty about it.

Jessica tweeted: “Any man that hits a woman belongs in the pits of hell. How dare you say you love her but hurt her, these a**h#@$s hit their wives, girlfriends, the mother of their kids!! You declare your love but harm her!

Many of her followers were confused by Jessica’s strange tweet. They thought it was out of her character from the normally calm actress. Others assumed that Jessica’s rant was aimed at musician and producer, Mampintsha Shimora and his relationship with Babes Wodumo.

One tweep commented that “Mampintsha must come and take his sub [tweet]” while another said “Mampintsha hurt Babes but she loves him”.

People automatically assumed that Jessica’s was referring to Mampintsa because she tweeted that statement shortly after Babes Wodumo posted a snap of her and Mampintsha, who was previously accused of assaulting her, and captioned the photo, “baby daddy”.

Briefly.co.za also learnt that fans immediately assumed that Babes was pregnant.

But the Gqom singer dropped the assault charges against Mampintsha and even called on Mzansi to forgive him. Briefly.co.za also reported that Mampintsha publically apologised to fans, claiming that he “regrets” his actions and that he was seeking professional help. Mampintsha also pledged to work through his ‘Fix It Fix Him’ organisation.

But perhaps Jessica has not forgiven the producer as yet. Earlier this year, Jessica took to Twitter among many other celebs and citizens to weigh in on the viral video of Mampintsha allegedly assaulting Babes. She also applauded the singer for her bravery in seeking justice against her ‘abuser’. See her tweet below:

On the other hand Babes and Mampintsha’s relationship has nothing to do with anyone else, and it’s best that people mind their own business.

Here are some reactions that really confused Jessica’s followers and also got them questioning what happens when the situation is reversed – woman abusing a man?
