- Zodwa Wabantu wants half of her lobola back from Ntobeko Linda's family
- The socialite agreed to split it with Ntobeko as she saw it as being fair
- Zodwa plans to wear her wedding dress on the season finale of her reality TV show
Zodwa Wabantu is back on the market after confirming that her wedding has definitely been called off and ending her relationship with Ntobeko Linda.
But that’s not all. The Mzansi personality claimed she will also be asking for half of her lobolo back from Linda’s family.
According to ZAlebs, Wabantu told Drum magazine in a recent interview that “We will have to split the lobola money in half, it’s only fair.”
Fans are still unsure about what exactly led to their split but the socialite said that Ntobeko didn’t “fight” for her like she had hoped. Wabantu also suggested that fame and formed a wedge between them.
“He was just quiet. I took that as a sign and so it’s off now,” Wabantu told TshisaLive.
The controversial entertainer and reality TV star also cited their age difference as one of the other factors.
“Ntobeko is still young, I won’t satisfy him when he decides to have babies. I’m too old to get pregnant,” said Wabantu.
But Ntobeko, who finally broke his silence, seemed to have a different understanding of what went down. He refused to say anything else except, “Zodwa knows the truth.”
While Zodwa won’t be having her dream wedding like she planned after all, she didn’t plan on disappointing her fans, so she revealed she will be wearing her wedding dress during the season finale of her reality TV show, Zodwa Wabantu: Uncensored.
Just over two weeks ago, Briefly.co.za reported that entertainer and media personality, Zodwa Wabantu, had used her reality TV show as a platform from which to apologise for anti-gay statements she made.
During the show, Zodwa told her viewers, “I’m sorry guys”.
The apology follows on from Zodwa’s comments about gay men, where she said that woman have to “accommodate them”.
