A couple's happily-ever-after was cut short when their honeymoon turned into a nightmare. On 31 July, Cheyenne Cottrell took to social media to share devastating news with the world.
Cheyenne revealed her husband, Dalton Cottrell, had sadly passed away on their honeymoon. The 22-year-old drowned while they were celebrating their nuptials in Florida, CBS News reported.
"Never did I think at 22 would I be a wife and then a widow so quickly," she wrote on Facebook.
Briefly.co.za learned the couple had only been married for three days when Cottrell's life was tragically cut short.
Cheyenne reportedly told the law officials that her husband had been swimming in the ocean when he was swept out to sea.
