A loving gradfather is trending on social media after an adorable video of him was shared. In the footage, he is seen painting the nails of his sick grandaughter.

Twitter user Aylawinter posted:

"My grandparents came to look after me after my surgery and my grandad told me he wanted to make me feel better, he told me he’s been painting my nan’s nails for 30 years and that he wanted to paint mine and I needed to share this.

The tweet has received over 100 000 retweets and a lot of positive feedback in the comments section.
