With unemployment and crime hanging over South Africa like a dark cloud, it's inspiring to see people do what it takes to survive and earn an honest living. A local lady expressed her happiness at seeing people doing business in townships.

South Africans are a hardy people - life in Mzansi can be very tough but the people refuse to bend over.

Seeing our fellow countrymen get creative and do what it takes to earn their bread and butter is inspiring and heart-warming.

A local lady recently applauded a man for doing business in a township - she found it very impressive.

The man was looking very crisp in his chef outfit as he made magwinyas (fat cakes) over an open fire on a braai.
