US actor, Samuel L Jackson, has traced back his roots all the way to Central Africa. After some DNA studies, it was found the popular actor is genetically connected to the Benga tribe of Gabon.
Many black Hollywood actors would find their roots in Africa and Samuel L Jackson, the prolific American star, is one of them.

The popular actor featured on the show Finding Your Roots where he discovered through some DNA studies that his genetic identity resembles the Benga tribe's.
According to a tweet by AfricaFactsZone, Samuel recently went on a trip to the country to meet 'his' people.
He was apparently also granted citizenship, but this information cannot be confirmed yet.
Meanwhile, the Avenger actor is in Ghana, where he is believed to be working on a documentary about slavery.
The doccie, Enslaved, will be a 6-part series and Samuel will be the host, according to myjoyonline.com.
