- Mzansi social media users have taken to social media to appreciate their partners
- Men shares sweet pictures with their girlfriends
- Others, however, had a different interpretation of what a partner was
A social media user started a heartwarming trend online over the weekend. He shared a post of pictures with his girlfriend and called on fellow South Africans to join him in appreciating their own partners.
Twitter user Chrismokami posted snaps of his beautiful girlriend with the caption:
"Guys drop a picture of you and your girlfriend together, lets appreciate our girls."
The post got over 900 responses as other men joined in appreciating their partners. Others, however, were a little more hesitant to post their partners. Twitter user PereDaHorse said:
"I'm tempted mara I'll pass, I'm not ready to answer questions like: you're also with this girl?"
Another social media user Kwenkosi posted a picture with cans of beer and captioned it:
"Just the two of us, we can make it if we try."
"So how about us who are married, should we post gfs or wives?"
Meanwhile Briefly.co.za previously reported that a woman said "No" after her man tried to propose to her recently. Unfortunately for him, the incident was caught on video and went viral on social media. In the footage, the man was seen on his knees asking his bae to marry him. She instead shook her head and refused. To make things worse, she appeared to be crying as she covered her eyes.
