Mzansi singer, Skolopad, took to social media to reveal she has to cameos lined up for two big drama soapies, Isidingo and The Queen.
Skolopad, who’s real name is Nonhlanla Qwabe, is a part-time singer and full-time nurse. She recently told The Daily Sun that she joined two agencies in a bid to break into the TV industry.
And Skolopad has done exactly that. She will make her debut on our TV screens soon. Take a look at the teaser she shared on Instagram for the Isidingo cameo role she will play.
According to ZAlebs, Skolopad told The Daily Sun that said she was excited to venture into a new territory and learn new skills, like acting.
“When I perform as a brand, people will not tell me during a performance that what I was doing was not the right thing. With acting, directors stop you immediately and you have to act again. There is more perfection in acting than when I perform on my own.”
Skolopad shared details of her soapie appearances on Instagram. She will make her debut in the next few weeks.
“I have not been given a name on Isidingo yet and I’m just known as the landlady. I also took a part as a guest actress in The Queen and I enjoyed the roles. I promise my fans I will not disappoint them,” said Skolopad.
The singer previously made an appearance on Generations: The Legacy as an extra in May.
Skolopad also shared a screenshot of her upcoming appearance on The Queen. She shares a scene with Harriet Khoza (played by veteran actress, Connie Ferguson).
Skolopad wrote: “Being with her in the same room it was a dream… Thanx #TheQueen for giving me the chance just to pass nje it’s big.”
