Its official, Destiny's Child members are planning on reuniting for a 20th anniversary tour in 2020! If you grew up in the 90's and early 2000's, then you probably had a partial aneurysm when you heard the news.
If you didn’t know, Destiny’s Child is made up of the Queen herself, Beyoncé Knowles, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. Destiny’s Child created the force that is Queen Bey, and that alone says enough.
Briefly.co.za learnt that an insider told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column that Queen Bey has been wanting to get the girls back together for some time now and there ain’t no better time than their 20th anniversary.
Unfortunately, it has been said that the girl band is only planning to tour the US and UK. So, for their millions of other fans around the world, it put a bit of a dampener on things.
Destiny’s Child gave power not only to women of colour, but women in general. If you thought you needed a man for anything; after listening to a Destiny’s Child track you no longer did.
Even though no official dates have been announced yet, the rumours alone have created an uncontrollable hype!
