On 26 July, Yolanda Flusk Jacobs, took to Facebook to gush about the kindness of an Engen petrol attendant.
Briefly.co.za gathered Jacobs stopped at Engen Zevenwacht on her way home after celebrating her 50th birthday.
Jacobs revealed she was helped by a petrol attendant named Life. He spotted her birthday cake on her mother's lap.
"I replied that it’s my 50th birthday cake. He didn’t believe me, said it could not be true," Jacobs wrote.
The beautiful lady said after convincing Life that she was indeed 50 years old, he told her to stay put and ran off.
He then returned with a R50 note - which he gave to her as a birthday present.
"What a selfless deed. Someone, not thinking twice to share his little with someone else. Life is an angel," she added.
