Phat Joe has called up Anele Mdoda to say that he is sorry about the remarks he made recently. The radio host got many people upset when he had negative things to say about Anele joining the Miss SA 2019 judging panel.
Radio personality, Phat Joe, made some negative remarks about Anele Mdoda after she was chosen as one of the official judges for the 2019 Miss SA pageant.
During his morning radio show, Phat Joe expressed that he believes that Anele only got the gig because of the colour of her skin, not because she knew anything about being pretty or a Miss SA.
"Anele Mdoda's appointment as Miss SA 2019 judge panel is affirmative action, just to balance the equation, she knows she doesn’t deserve the position, how is she gonna justify her judgement?"
Since then, many South Africans has dragged Phat Joe, including radio and TV host, Penny Lebyane.
Phat Joe decided to call up Anele and tell her he's sorry, he was only joking.
Anele took to social media (where Phat Joe got so many flames) to let Mzansi know about the apology - and that she's accepted it.
"Just took a call from Phat Joe. He apologised. I accept his apology."
Briefly.co.za noticed that president of the United Democratic Movement, Bantu Holomisa, felt Phat Joe should give her a cow to show that he is really sorry.
Anele now just wants people to move on and focus on the lovely ladies who are taking part of the beauty pageant that she'll be judging for the third time.
