- Teboho Moloi has cast his vote for the new Bafana Bafana head coach
- The legendary Bucs player said Roger de Sa should not be overlooked
- Moloi praised De Sa for his success at the Orlando Pirates
Former Orlando Pirates footballer Teboho Moloi gave his two cents worth on the SA Football Association's search for a new Bafana Bafana head coach.
According to The Sowetan, Moloi believes SAFA should not overlook Roger de Sa for the top coaching job.
Moloi spoke about the names that have already been thrown into the hat, including Steven Komphela and Benni McCarthy, and he added De Sa should be given a shot.
The Bucs legend praised the Platinum Stars coach for his track record, citing his success at the Orlando Pirates.
"He's the only coach... I don't know if you guys follow history, when Pirates were campaigning CAF Champions League they were also campaigning in three cup finals here at home, it had never happened," Moloi said.
Moloi said if De Sa was not given the opportunity to coach the national team, he should at least be included in the chosen coach's technical team.
The hunt for a new Bafana Bafana coach kicked off moments after Stuart Baxter announced his resignation two weeks ago.
Briefly.co.za reported Baxter held a private press briefing where he announced his "personal" decision to step down as the Bafana coach.
