Golden Arrows coach Steve Komphela has come in for a lot of flak as video footage emerged of him dancing with opposition fans.

The scenes followed a humiliating 5-0 loss for Arrows at the hands of Bloemfontein Celtic on Sunday.

It took just 39 seconds for the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium to erupt as Celtic scored an early goal and finished the half with a 3-0 lead.

It didn’t get any better for Arrows as they conceded twice more to complete the rout.

However, the match may indeed be more remembered for some bizarre post-match celebrations.

Komphela took the bold decision to dance with Celtic supporters after the final whistle and the images went viral via social media.

A few onlookers defended Komphela’s actions and deemed it to be sporting behaviour, but others took a much harsher view.

Nhlakanipho Mhlongo (@bhebhe_nhlaka) said, “Utter rubbish. Your team gets hammered 5-0 and u-busy dancing with the fans of the opponents. Manto must fine this coach.”
Ngwana Kholokoeng.Phuthii (@MphoMoloi18) added, “Instead of consoling his team's supporters because he lost them a game yena he goes to have fun, he doesn't respect Golden arrows.”
