Zahara opens up about her alleged beef with Umhlobo Wenene FM

There have been claims that there's some beef between Zahara and Umhlobo Wenene FM because of her previous relationship with the radio station's DJ Amaza. The songbird has rubbished these rumours.

Zahara and Umhlobo Wenene FM's DJ Amaza were engaged but things didn't work out and they went their separate ways in 2016.

Now, her fans are concerned that the radio station is boycotting her music out of spite and they aren't happy about it.

However, the singer has addressed these accusations and said there's no truth to them, according to TimesLIVE.

Zahara recently returned from a tour in the US and Canada, and upon her return, she was asked why the station is being anything but nice to her.

Although she didn't go into detail about her relationship with Umhlobo Wenene FM, she said that for whatever reason her music isn't being played these days, it's not about her and DJ Amaza.

She added that he is a good man and wouldn't do anything like influence whether her music is played or not. Also, he would get into trouble if he did.

Briefly.co.za gathered that Zahara doesn't want the recent rumours to affect her ex.

"If they have a problem with me, they need to tell the world why that is!"

Zahara also said she appreciates that her fans are trying to look out for her but they have nothing to worry about. She's in a good place after her tour.
