Online haters - a clear, but unwelcome, sign that you've made it as a muso. AKA certainly has made it, he is often on the receiving end of jabs and shade from social media users.
However, despite the heat, the popular rapper has been coping relatively well. Even if that meant he had to take a break from social media for a while.
He recently shared a golden nugget of advice with his fans on how to deal with trolls - just pretend it's in another language.

The rapper said:
"Next time someone says something insulting to you on Twitter, just pretend like it’s in a language that you don’t speak or understand.
"It’s just words at the end of the day. Words from someone you don’t even know. No use getting upset about it."

From what Briefly.co.za saw, AKA's fans agreed with him that ignoring hateful people's comments it the best way to deal with it.
The Fela in Versace-hitmaker has previously shown that he can respond to disapproval in a mature way - he's been shaded regularly for not winning anything at the 2019 BET Awards, but has taken the loss pretty well and reacted with pride.
Clearly, he's not only handing out hollow advice, he's living it.
