The Ndlovu Youth Choir is representing South Africa in the United States and doing a fantastic job of it. The 24 members of the choir will perform on August 20 for the 2-part final in front of millions.
The Ndlovu Youth Choir is setting off to Hollywood soon and will compete in the 2-part finale of America's Got Talent.
On 20 August, the 24 of 48 members of the choir that was chosen to perform for the finale will take the stage in front of a TV audience of millions.
They really impressed the show's judges with their goosebumps-inducing rendition of Shakira's Waka Waka.
When they go, the choir will take a special part of Limpopo with them, according to TimesLIVE. The choir is taking colourful beaded outfits that have become part of their act with them - these beads were designed and added to their outfits by Moutse villagers.
Ndlovu Youth Choir's musical director, Ralf Schmitt, is keeping their chosen songs for the final rounds a secret.
He's only willing to say:
"All I can say is, it will be proudly South African."
Briefly.co.za gathered that Simon Cowell, the judge known for being difficult to please, has been very impressed with the SA choir. He even said if he could, he'd bottle and drink their energy.
