Earlier this month, a lady, who has been identified by her Twitter handle @_NicoleIngram shared a screenshot of a conversation between a bride and a woman she invited to her wedding.

"I saw this in a Facebook group. This is crazy. You still in the wedding or no?" she captioned the post.

The screenshot showed the bride asking the unidentified woman if she would attend the wedding without getting her hair and make-up done.

The confused wedding guest then asks why she was not allowed to wear make-up or do her hair, to which the bride said she does not want the woman to "outshine" her on the special day.

"Because it should be about me that day and I don't anyone to look better," one of her messages read.

Social media users were stunned by the bride's insecurities and many said they would either be spiteful and show up looking gorgeous or not attend the wedding at all.

Twitter user, @ambermariexoo, commented: "Best believe I’d show up with my make-up better than ever in a white dress too."

However, many felt that whoever the person was who posted the screenshots made up a fake chat.

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported on another bridezilla, who gave all her guests an outrageous list "dos and don'ts" on her special day.
