Security guard praised for helping man who fainted on the road

- A security guard rushed to the scene where residents reported an uncomfortable incident

- The officer discovered that a man had fainted on the road and that it was as a result of an epileptic attack

- Thanks to his quick-thinking, he was able to save the man’s life and was praised via social media

The Fidelity ADT armed response company received an alert via a community whatsapp group.

Officer Mahlangu was one of the security personnel on duty and quickly rushed to the scene on the corner of Waterkloof Heights, Pretoria.

To his dismay, he discovered a man who had fainted at the intersection. Mahlangu did a quick assessment and requested medical assistance.

Briefly.co.za understands the man was rushed to hospital and it was confirmed that he suffered an epileptic attack.

Fortunately, officer Mahlangu came to his rescue and saved the day.

ADT shared the news via social media and Mahlangu was praised for his quick-thinking.

Kgosi Ya Pele Thobejane said, “Fidelity ADT Must compensate him as well. Well done Oscar Mahlangu.”

Mahlangu is not the first security officer to be commended for his excellent work.
