Looks like Mzansi rapper has more than just his rapping sills. He also has a creative side of him. Nasty C took to social media to flaunt a Zulu-inspired neck chain that he made himself.
Mzansi musician and rapper, Nasty C, took to social media earlier today to flaunt his diamond “Zulu” inspired chain which he made himself.
Nasty C has been really living up to his image, which also happens to be the title of his upcoming album, ‘Zulu Man With Power’.
The muso took to both his Instagram and Twitter accounts to share a video clip of his new diamond neck chain with a touch of iHawu.
According to SA Hip Hop magazine and for those that don’t know, iHawu is one of the signature weapons of defence from the Zulu tribe that has existed for centuries. It was mostly used by warriors.
Nasty C is fusing his love and pride for his Zulu culture with a modern style of bling.
In the video, Nasty C explains his masterpiece creation. “I call this the Zulu chain. Have you ever seen a Zulu man as passionate as this? Never let them live, just animal skin and it’s real baby.”
The rapper also had to add in that he made the chain all by himself.
Fans really digged the chain and Nasty C's creativity and even praised the rapper for the design. Here are a few comments from Nasty C's tweet:
About a week ago, Briefly.co.za reported that South African musician, Nasty C, left many of Mzansi’s social media users in a state of confusion after he shared a picture of himself on social media. In the image, it appeared that the Mzansi celeb was injured.
Donning his signature all-white get-up and diamond-encrusted grill, Nasty C also sported a hand wrapped in bloody tissue.
The local rapper mysteriously explained in the image’s caption that the incident was something that “comes with commitment”.
