New information has uncovered that outgoing Orlando Pirates Coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic’s sudden resignation was sparked by a ‘sexual offence’ committed by the coach, a number of days prior.

Micho allegedly undressed in front of a hotel cleaner and asked her to engage in sexual activities with him.

Sunday World reported that the cleaner opened a case against the football coach, 10 days ago.

Micho allegedly approached a 51-year-old member of hotel cleaning staff at 6am one morning and cornered her in a disabled toilet stall.

At this point, the woman screamed and fled the toilets, The Citizen reported.

Police spokesperson, Kay Makhubela, has subsequently confirmed that the former Orlando Pirates coach is facing indecent exposure charges.

Briefly.co.za gathered that Micho had cited “personal challenges” when asked about his recent abrupt resignation.

“Due to the challenges that I am personally facing I am leaving this position, but at the same moment, I will look forward to the challenges that once I am settled are coming ahead of me. I really value and appreciate each moment spent with you,” Micho said earlier this week.

The Serbian-born coach led the Orlando Pirates team through two successful seasons before suddenly jumping ship.
