A surprising new video may have unearthed a new craze amongst Durban’s criminals.

The footage revealed how a thug waited patiently for a group of women to pass by and snatched a weave from one of their heads.

The thief made a swift getaway and the woman is seen clutching her head in frustration.

South Africa Live shared the video via Facebook and it’s been trending with over 1 000 comments. surveyed the reactions and it seems social media users were divided on the situation.

While some criticised the criminal behaviour, there were many men who seem to support the initiative.
