Young lady spends birthday with the homeless and inspires Mzansi

A special young lady decided to celebrate her birthday in a unique way by spending the day with a group of homeless people in Cape Town.

She even arranged sweets, treats and balloons as the festivities took place on the street.

Her elder brother was so impressed by his sister’s gesture that he took to Twitter to share the news.

Via his Twitter handle (Blomzit Avenue - @Blomzit_Avenue), he shared photos of the day, and the joy on the faces of the homeless was clear for all to see.

Briefly.co.za noted that the post has gone viral since it was shared yesterday and has been liked nearly 10 000 times.

A few tweeps felt that sharing photos was in bad taste, but the majority lauded the young lady.
