Former Our Perfect Wedding host, Kayise Ngqula took to social media earlier this week to pay tribute to her late husband, Farai Sibanda.
Mzansi couple, Kayise Ngqula and Farai Sibanda, were involved in a horror car crash while travelling together in Sandton two months ago. Sadly Farai lost his life in the crash while Kayise was left with severe injuries which she is still recovering from.
The actress and media personality shared a heartfelt video on Instagram of her traditional wedding to the love of her life, Farai. They were surrounded by family and friends. She poured her heart out to her late husband, promising to preserve their love.
She wrote: “Nothing was better than us. Nothing could ever be better than us. Ours together still is the greatest success story of my entire existence. I’ll protect it always. Forever and a day, Happy Anniversary my Love!”
According to TshisaLive, Kayise was hospitalised after the horrific incident. She took to Instagram at the weekend to share a video of herself in hospital, taking her first steps since the accident.
Kayise captioned the post: “Today marks exactly two months since I was severely injured in a car accident, leaving me wheelchair-bound because of multiple fractures inside my body.”
She said that the video was her way of getting back on her feet.
“Accompanied by my physiotherapist a few weeks ago… Today I made the first attempt to walk on my own with no moon boot or crutches and out of the hospital.”
The widow said she couldn’t begin to explain her “miraculous healing”.
“I fight for so much on a daily basis, but this here is heaven’s answer to a long and painful battle. I had to share for nothing but God’s glory.”
About four weeks ago, Briefly.co.za reported that it was a tragic event when Kayise Ngqula lost her husband two months ago in a horrific accident. Losing a loved one is the longest lasting pain a human will ever feel.
Kayise has been in the entertainment industry for a mere 5 years but she has accomplished so much. The star made headlines when she won the Our Perfect Wedding Presenter Search competition in 2017.
It is so sad, as the couple seemed to have had it all - a new baby and a good life - and two months later, Kayise’s life changed.
The media personality has been very quiet for the past month. But Kayise took to Instagram on the first month anniversary of her hubby’s death. She took the opportunity to thank her followers for all the support she had received.
