Fashion designer, David Tlale, is in mourning after his best friend and muse, his mom, as passed away. The popular designer will lay Joyce Tlale to rest in Vosloorus on Friday. She died after a short illness.
David Tlale, local fashion designer of note, has been taken by surprise by the passing of his mother, Joyce.
TimesLIVE reports that the designer will be laying his mom to rest on Friday in Vosloorus.
David gave the publication a statement in which he said he'll be holding onto memories to carry him through this difficult time.
Part of David's statement read:
"The passing away of my mother on Sunday afternoon took us all by surprise. We hold on to the precious memories we made with her during her time with us. Her love and teachings will carry us through this tough time and into the future."
Briefly.co.za gathered that David also said his mother had been his muse lately. She inspired him and helped him see how elderly ladies remain graceful in their later years.
"I created some of my collections for women like her. Working with her over the past few years was phenomenal and an experience I will keep in my heart."
The designer also added that he will always remember her sassy comments during the times they worked together.
"I will always cherish the interactions we had. The sassy and witty comments she would make during the shoots were fantastic. She had a zest for life and enjoyed the finer things, what a lady!"
