Nokubonga Blom works with Homeless Voices, an organisation that reaches out to homeless people in Cape Town, but that's not what grabbed people's attention.

She knows about the pain and struggles these people face every day and that's likely what motivated her to spend her birthday with them.

Nokubonga promised the homeless folks that she would celebrate her birthday with them, and she honoured her word, as reported on by Briefly.co.za.
