Helen Zille, former Western Cape premier and veteran politician, is adamant that she gets more emotionally attached to South Africa each day. This comes in response to a Durban GP who took to social media to highlight her hopeless feelings over the nation's state.
Helen Zille says that her love for the country grows each day, seeing her more and more emotionally attached.
The former premier and Democratic Alliance leader had responded to Karin Morrow, a Durba-based doctor, who had shared her dim view of South Africa's current situation.
Zille had been adamant that she is more prepared than ever for fight for the country, commenting that she disagreed with Morrow:
"No, I get more emotionally attached every day. And I am prepared to fight for SA more than ever before."
Briefly.co.za reported earlier that Zille had stirred the pot with her comments that the media had helped build the EFF up with flattering coverage, only to take them to court.
The Red Berets had been taken to task by SANEF, who had sought to hold the party accountable for alleged threats against journalists.
