Local kind Samaritan surprises men living in bush with groceries

BI Phakathi has shared a heartwarming video of himself helping two men. The men live in the bushes and have no proper home. Phakathi provided the men with bags of groceries and prayed with them.

In the footage shared on Facebook, Phakathi is speaks to both of the men, one of them is named Herman. Herman complained that he was not feeling well and may have a flu. Phakathi then surprised him with bags of food. The grateful men said that he was God-sent. The Good Samaritan then prayed with the men before shaking their hands and leaving.

Social media users were touched by the kind act. Facebook user Barbara Ann Tully said:

"Lord Jesus bless this man for his kind hearted nature in helping mankind and showing respect to the state of living"

While Takalani Ramavhuya said:

"May God bless you more"

Carol Montgomery said:

"Thank you man of honor. Tears of joy. God continue to bless your beautiful heart sir. I am always humbled by this"

Briefly.co.za previously reported that BI Phakathi posted a video on social media which showed him helping a young man who was travelling without food or money. The video showed the kind man asking the traveller where he was headed and a bit of his back story. He learned the young man, who identified himself as Ian, was going to Heidelberg after his previous employer failed to pay his salary for two months. However, he had a tough time on his trip because he had no money for food or transport and people refused to stop and help him. Staying true to himself, BI Phakathi gave him more than enough money to buy food and to get to where he is going
